<p> Tian’anmen Square</p>
<p> Located at the center of Beijing City, Tian’anmen Square is the largest square in the world. It covers an area of 44 hectares, big enough to hold one million people. From the north to the south, it measures some 880 meters, and 500 meters from the east to the west.</p>
<p> In the center stands the Monument to the People’s Heroes. On the east is the Museum of Chinese Revolution and Chinese History and on the west the Great Hall of the People. The Qianmen Gate and Chairman Mao Memorial Hall sit in the south, with Tian’anmen Tower in the north.</p>
